Brisa do Mar is a newly launched vacation rental located just 20 minutes from Aveiro, Portugal. The property owner made a significant personal investment in creating a peaceful and welcoming space for travellers, and needed a strong visual identity and digital presence to promote the property in an affordable yet professional way.

Visual Identity & Logo Design

The brand direction focused on serenity, simplicity, and connection to nature — all key qualities of the guest experience at Brisa do Mar.
• Primary Logo: A clean, minimalist sun setting over the sea — a subtle nod to the property’s coastal location.
• Color Palette:
• Midnight Tide (#002069) – evoking the depth of the Atlantic and evening calm
• Dune Whisper (#FEFAEC) – a warm, sandy neutral reflecting the natural tones of the nearby beach
• Typography:
• Korcy – elegant and contemporary with personality
• Ophelia Display Regular – soft, refined, and slightly nostalgic

The design approach was modern but approachable — minimal lines, calming contrasts, and a palette that aligns with both the natural setting and Portuguese aesthetic.

Website Design & Development

I designed and developed a simple yet elegant one-page website using Wix, making it easy for the client to manage updates independently.

Key features:
• Responsive layout for mobile and desktop
• Information about amenities, location, and availability
• Call-to-action to book directly via WhatsApp (no third-party fees)
• Local SEO best practices to ensure visibility

Photography

To ensure an authentic and trustworthy first impression, I photographed the property myself, capturing the natural light, cozy interiors, and nearby beach scenery — ideal for both the website and social media.

Social Media Setup & Google Business

To increase discoverability and credibility, I:
• Set up and branded their Instagram and Facebook accounts
• Created launch content with brand-consistent visuals and captions
• Registered the business on Google Maps / Google Business, boosting trust and local search visibility

Ongoing Support

As the property owner was on a tight budget, I provided extra support with:
• Facebook post designs
• Simple video teasers (reels) to be used on Instagram
• General marketing strategy to attract more bookings organically

My Role

This project allowed me to wear many hats — designer, photographer, web developer, branding consultant, and creative strategist. What I valued most was helping a small business owner bring her vision to life with limited resources and ensuring everything from design to digital presence reflected the same sense of care, calm, and hospitality that the property offers.

Impact

Since launch, Brisa do Mar has begun receiving local inquiries and growing awareness online. The clean, cohesive brand identity and digital presence are building the foundation for long-term credibility and bookings.
