Project overview:
iGoChurch hosted a summer community event that combined a barbecue with a water baptism. The goal was to draw not only members of the church but also people from the broader community—especially those unfamiliar with the church or the gospel. My role was to design visuals that invited everyone to a relaxed, welcoming environment.

Problem to solve:
Create event visuals that don’t feel overly religious, while still aligning with the church’s values. The challenge was to promote the event in a way that focused on community, food, and connection—while still clearly communicating the logistics and deeper purpose of the event.

Creative approach:
The key visual features a high-quality image of a barbecue, with a dark overlay for legibility. Bold, simple typography emphasizes the title “Community Barbecue & Water Baptism,” with strategic placement of the date, location, and iGoChurch logo. The design is friendly, clear, and visually engaging—encouraging participation without any overt religious messaging.

Deliverables:
• Event Poster
• Social Media Assets (Instagram & Facebook)
• Internal Digital Screen Ads

Results:
This was the second event of its kind I designed for iGoChurch this summer. The first, in June, had strong attendance—and this follow-up event already saw increased engagement, with more guests, including many first-timers and non-church members. This reaffirms how thoughtful design—no matter the scale—can powerfully support community outreach.

Takeaway:
No project is too small when it serves a larger purpose. From full branding to a single event poster, I aim to create designs that resonate with their audience and help organizations grow.
